Calculate battery drain

Recommended Posts

Let's say a continuesly working 240W building is hooked up to battery with 40kj power stored. No generator present. Battery will last 40000/240 = 167 seconds. Is that calculation correct?

How to calculate how fast battery will fill from 0% to 100% in the same set up being powered by 800W generator?

40000/800=50s

Batteries have no limit on how fast they can charge (that I'm aware off). They take the available surplus power produced, and store it.
