Duplicants are pretty unsociable, aren't they? They just work, eat and sleep. They don't have any relations with other duplicants but they are grieving death of a duplicant. I have few sugestions for making game more "realistic".

Relations - Every duplicant have relations with every other duplicant that is living in colony. (best friend, friend, I like him/her, neutral, I don't know him/her, I don't like him/her, I hate him/her, enemy, or something like that) Relations can be simple. They can depend of duplicant trait(every duplicant must have minimum one sociable trait, and one normal) and sociable level. Small sociable level makes duplicant very shy and very hard to have good relations with confident duplicants. Duplicants with high sociable level are confident. Very confident dups are more like to break their relations with other duplicants. Duplicants that don't like each other will get stressed while working together. The same in other way.

Relation traits(You can easiliy make other traits, those traits are only examples):

-Unsociable: Other duplicants hate duplicants with unsociable trait, but duplicants with unsociable trait don't mind it.

-Public enemy: Duplicants with public enemy trait are enemy with almost every duplicant but duplicants with public enemy and like to upset other duplicants. Making upset other duplicants makes their enemies lower their stress.

etc.

Breaks - Duplicants should take breaks because breaks are cool. Player should set when duplicants can take a break to relax, or when take break to eat but starving duplicants eat whenever they can. Duplicants that don't relax start getting weak and stressed. Every duplicant have other way to spend their free time but when friends free time in the same time they will just talk together.

What are you thinking about this?
