mods? Will The Forge be Modable?

Will there be mod support for the Forge? Like Character mods, I know Client side mods work such as the mini map and such, but will modded characters make an appearance?

Currently, Klei haven't said anything. That said, the ability to host a "Unranked" server would be cool. Kinda like how you can host any seasonal event at any time. Any unranked servers could be tweaked, modded and what not  but at the cost of not being able to earn exp or chests! I hope they consider it, because I know we have some talented modders in this community and I can't wait to see what weapons and bosses they can come up with.

I have a feeling it won't, having community Forge servers would defeat the purpose of it being an event as no one would really care or mind if it came back a year later (assuming it won't have new content added to it) since you could play it year round anyways. You could argue that skins would be the main selling point of the event, but unless they changed something about the forge each time they start it, it'll become less enjoyable to play through as time goes on.

Well it is in Beta, I've seen many game modes like this, and surprisingly enough, They are very popular. I can see non ranked servers being opened. also one problem I just realized with modded characters, some people would have them OP.
