Refilling with nitre like how you refuel flingo's with combustibles isn't how the Salt Lick operates. So you're only left with already rebuilding a new one if you need one. But you can hammer it on penultimate stage, (when all salt almost gone) so you can get part of resourses back. If you destroy it after all salt gone, you'll get nothing.
