The Plum Gate
Not sure if it's a bug or a matter of simulation convenience, but airflow and mesh tiles don't display contents, no material composition layers exist beyond that of the tile itself. It would be nice to see what's passing through these tile types to measure the effect they have on passage ( if any ) and for other design reasons. My concern is mainly gasses and liquids and the display when mousing over the tile.
Kasuha
It's not exactly a bug. They count as tiles - if you keep clicking on a wall tile, you'll get the tile first, and the underlying element second. So that works the same way. Except in case of standard tiles, the element is material of the tile, while for airflow/mesh tiles, the element is different from the tile material. And yes, especially with introduction of germs, it would be nice to be able to see the material within the tile and germs it contains.
The Plum Gate
I kind of expected them to behave the same way ladder sections do when it comes to clicking through the various layers of objects that might be behind them - gases and liquids included. The Plum Gate
@Kasuha, @manu_x32 Actually, I stand corrected, as of 232512 you can click through these tiles, it's just not showing up on the mouse over list.
