New Suggestion: about food and research

But ain't that part of the game, to time it just right where you gain more food just as you start to run out. I happen to think it is good where it is. I successfully got the timeline such that my dups start to run out of food just as the crops are ready.

Hey, I think the timings are part of the difficulty right now. I like where they are.

Also, you can always speed up time, if you don't want to wait. :)

Maybe there will be a custom game mode, where you can adjust those things. But not at the moment.

I believe the research will be tweaked when more content is added to the game. Devs have great plans and there's so much in the game that players don't normally get to see. There's not much point adjusting research for the current state of the game,m what we got is a placeholder in my opinion.

Talking about current game state, I think the research is way too easy and fast. And it is over way too soon, there's nothing holding you back researching everything before you actually start building the base. I would kind of like the research to be slower and more restricted, with each machine being researched separately and when conditions for researching it are met. For instance for Thermal Regulator, you would have to have insulated pipes researched, and you would need to have gold discovered in the map. Then it would take half the research effort that's now needed for the whole block. That would feel reasonable to me.
