I killed two dupes inside my Chlorine pit and it has been like 20 cycles and nothing. I saved and loaded 10 cycles to see if that triggered anything but no change. Was this not a feature? I decided to dig a path from a Morb really deep and as he paths up, the moment he gets into the area i am working in, he explodes. Right at the point the temperature reaches -1C.
