So far, I've had a few errors but I've done pretty good at debugging them. After a bit of back and forth, the character select screen loads up, I select my character and get one more error, this time, I believe it has something to do with one of the core files? Lumina Posted April 28, 2017 Share Posted April 28, 2017 Error screen alone, without the mod or the error log, is usually not enough to help people figure what's going on. See here how to find the error log, copy the log so people can see the error, and attach your mod (.zip of the mod). Of course, with the log you could be able to fix it yourself. I was hoping that someone would elaborate the error to me and provide some reasons to why it wouldn't be working and I could've worked with that, but I can upload my content in question. To add other information, I added a custom Desert Goggles and custom Boomerag to the character as well as building a recipe for them. Looking in files, seems that symname is used only for hats. As far as i understand, they use the symname for the bank name, and the fname for the build name. Ok i'm not sure i will be clear, but you have theses lines local fname = "hat_"..name local symname = name.."hat" local prefabname = symname It's just a way to don't have to write the same stuff again and again, instead each time they need to write "use this as a bank" they write "symname" and anytime they need to write "use this as a build" they write fname. I'll disable it and report back if anything. EDIT: Okay, made progress (Thank you so much). There are still some unrelated errors but it looks like something I can figure out. The animation for the custom boomerang doesn't show. It does however appear in the inventory and in Lento's hand. Let me know if you need an updated zip. Goggles work, but I need to play around with positioning a little. Is it possible for them to sit over the face layers? EDIT: Disregard last question about the goggles. The facial features are placed lower than usual and that kinda messes things up a little for me. Just need additional info for the boomerang.
