ONI 32-bit Compatibility

Recommended Posts

As an endearing loyal customer to Klei Entertainment. I've bought the game but with the issue that it cannot be installed in a Windows 32-bit. So I would likely to suggest compatibility towards the 32-bit version of Windows due to not having technical skills on such operation. As much as for your love for your loyal customers I hope you all are to consider this due to the fact like me, some customers don't have a technical skill in handling such work. Thank you and have your responses.

If you bought your computer in the last ~20 years or so you just need to reinstall windows with a 64 bit disk. If your windows came with the PC then you need to buy a new license.

But that is assuming your specs are good enough to even run the game. Installing windows is a easy task that people just think it's scary, all you have to do is follow the prompts and you're done. There are even some repair shops that may do it for you.

The trend for new games is going to be 64 bit only as 32 bit games will impose limits on the things they can do. So in the future you're going to have to go 64 bit to play any new games.

It's literally just sticking a CD in (or USB) and running the installation disk on an empty HDD.

You will have to start over again, but that's just the price to pay.

SECONDLY, 32 bit is a deprecated format that is slowly dying, and most systems are now moving to 64 bit.

THIRDLY, this game as of 4/19/17, requires ALOT of memory due to several leaks here and there. Your 32-bit imposed limit of 4GB of System Memory will most likely cause unstability for the game, and the rest of the system.
