Ghost and amulet question..

So I was digging up some stuff in graves for some gold to exchange and I found ghost. He was attacking me, but he's very slow, I can't hit it tho. So why they are there> Do they do something special? And also what can I do with amulet? I can't give it to pig king apparently, it also stacks while other stuff I dug don't stack.Thanks for your answers :)Also fun fact: if you are cooking mandrake night turns into day like you were sleeping

The question is on a lot of players minds , I don't think there is an answer quite yet with all of that.

The only use of the Amulets right now is putting them on the science machine for a shinyload of research points.If you have a mandrake burrowed nearby you can lure the ghost into it; he'll stay with it instead of chasing you. You can then push animals into it and the ghost will kill them. I used to kill beefalos this way
