Gas vent overpressurized

Recommended Posts

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm mostly playing blind and haven't gotten all that far, but I think the game wont let you pressurize a room beyond a certain point so that warning would mean the room you're trying to pump into is too full.

I only say this because I ran into this problem the first time I tried to build a system to circulate oxygen, but in my latest game I also built a pump to remove CO2 from the space and both vents worked fine.

My base is at any time at a nice 1.2 Kg of contaminated oxygen per tile, so any vent i build gets overpressurized shortly after start working.

But... it seems to do nothing, since the vents do output gas nevertheless.

Gas Vent Overpressurized means the receiving tile has too much gas to push any more gas through. However, there's currently a bug where the warning doesn't go away after the gas pressure drops even though the vent starts working again.

like habdom already mention, it's only a visual bug, or you can use valve to reduce the gas output.

But, until they fixed the gas & water distribution system. I suggest you to avoid using gas tools as much as possible..

before my last playthro, I also using them (a lot) to manage almost all of my oxygen circulation, but now I only use them when I want to cool a certain room and only to pump out certain gas into a room/machine.
