Evaporating duplicants

Recommended Posts

I can't rightly report a bug when I have no idea what's going on. I noticed this after I refused a duplicant print for the first time. Suddenly beds and mess tables are unassigned and I realize the number of duplicants (in the upper left) has decreased. There was no warning message to dismiss saying that any duplicants have died. I have found no corpses.

Has anyone else experienced this? I think three duplicants have disappeared since the refused printing (not all at once), and this is about 28 cycles in. Do duplicants just have an extremely short lifespan, like

Spoiler

the clones in the movie "Moon"

or something?

U could post this on the Klei Bug Tracker (http://forums.kleientertainment.com/klei-bug-tracker/oni-alpha/).

In any case that bug never happened to me, seems to be a weird one.

Will do. I wish I had more to go on... At any rate, after reloading my game, it crashed after about a minute, so that report has been issued. Will bug report the evaporating colonists to supplement.

I had a hatch that ate one of my duplicants.

If they were sleeping while he ate them then it's normal behavior. Try to attack (harvest) it while awake at night or by digging him out at day (he burrows in the tile he's standing on when day comes).
