Is there a way to make the world shipwrecked compatible after choosing "No" on the compatibility warning?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

Like the title says: Is there a way to make the world shipwrecked compatible after choosing "No" on the compatibility warning? Like changing something from the command line, or editing game files.

I just got back to playing Don't Starve after a long break and I decided to start with RoG. I got a "Shipwrecked Compatibility" warning before creating the game and I chose yes, then the game crashed because one of my mods (Always On Status) was not compatible, so I created the game again and this time I chose no. Now, after playing for a little while I found out you can move to shipwrecked by crafting an item, but I can't because I already chose "No". I changed the mod that was causing crashes, so that shouldn't be a problem anymore.

I appreciate any help you can give.

There is no way to change that now, it is set forever just like other world settings. Your only hope would be trying to run this command in the console and checking if a structure will spawn in, however I doubt it will:

c_spawn("shipwrecked_entrance")

You can start a SW world in a new save. When you use the Seaworthy, you can choose to link your RoG world. It will kill off your RoG character, but your world will remain intact.

@Tumaelso I too, had the crash with Always On Status a few weeks back... the mod creator seems to have abandoned it. Check out rezecib's enhanced (and up-to-date) rework instead, Combined Status

Yeah that's the one I'm using now. It's almost identical to Always On Status.

Thanks, that's sounds like the best solution.
