Christmas Food

Hello there Dear Devs,

I noticed in the update today you did this amazing new foods, but why are they from drop ?   I mean i love how they look but i would love to actually cook them instead of getting it from a spider *** or from a pig belly button (Think people already stating that they drop from creatures - not sure haven't played it so correct me if i'm wrong)

So why not making cooking recipes for this ? Been so long since we had new recipes, why not maybe add even the SW recipes ? We also have fish in DST and bananas, so would be pretty nice to even have those. But my point here manly is the CHRISTMAS ones. Why not add the chocolate as a drop from creatures and let us use the LOGS for this cooking recipes, the Fruit Cake, The Pomes, The Walking Cane/suger from the frosting, the egg, the milk, to do all of the new cool additions ?

I think would have been a nicer way so i leave this suggestion for future events.

One person asked me yesterday how to make Taffy.

I think they drop just because if they required learning recipes, not too many players would encounter a piece of content from a short seasonal event.

What about all the other hidden content of the seasonal patch ? Also if you as a new player experiment recipes, you would try to cook the Christmas stuff that was dropping from creatures (Fruit Cake, Candy Cane, Ginger Bread) to make this recipes i talked

It's a piece of content for veteran players

Yeah, that would make sense.

Maybe they just didn't have enough time to implement it to be a crockpot recipe? (no idea, maybe they just thought dropping them is cool enough)

Or maybe it'd be just too redundant to cook foods with almost no value to them?

But agreed, cooking these could be nice.

My Point would actually them have value as-well, depending on how hard is to make them. Think would be cool!
