Diaboliko
I've poked around him and found that beating him solo without killing deers is just waaay easier then without(is enrage even beatable with less then over 9000 men?). Its just some sort of hard enrage, which makes him unbeatable by making him too fat and his attack range too big(normal attack range is somewhat fine, but jumping attacks can no longer be dodged by Wolfgang with walking cane(50% speed boost, son)). Knowledge is power and stuff, but that enrage is just garbage right now. Unless Ive missed something and there is a way of putting him out of it. I know that new reign awaits and stuff, but making Klaus absorbing deers powers or something would seem much better then that. Making enrage phase really hard but fun and putting extra(and different) rewards to it would make it viable! Czeraphine
Full support. I've played around and figured that about 30k health for an enraged Klaus would take an army of Wolfgang and a few days to kill. He deals an insane amount of damage, becomes impossible to kite, and then becomes relatively impossible to kill without a full on raid. Maybe some bosses should allow the players to actually incorporate some skill into play instead of almost always engaging with the spank and tank tactic. isthisworkingnow
Maybe he goes straight to his second phase, absorbs the life force of the second deer (killing it) and channels power every now and then which immobilises him for 5-10 seconds and gives him either two states. One would be a "Heated Fury" state in which he would have a damage buff as well as an aura of heat (so over time you over heat) but takes more damage. In this state the fire staff would do nothing as well as any fire damage but an ice staff would freeze him in one hit. Also if a player tries to use a Pan Flute or STS he would do a massive AoE attack The second one would be "Frozen Heart" (like he is grieving) he would do less damage or attack less frequently but also take less damage while having a slight cold aura. He would take more fire damage but can't be frozen. The states would only last about 7-15 seconds. Im not totally sure about this idea myself but I thought it could make the boss fight more exciting than just tanking the damage. Battal
The point of the enrage is so people don't kill the deer, and so they fight the boss as intended (with the deer providing the support to Klaus, as well as area denial at his sides.) I think that if fighting him without the deer was an option, it would ruin the feel of the fight and make his overall design less interesting. You take one hambat-wielding warrioress, one fully-upgraded WX with a dark sword, and his squishy ranged platonic life partner with 111 HP furious over the deaths of the first two right after killing the deer. It takes two days, three mandrake soups and hell of an attitude.
