Tree45 Posted November 4, 2016 Share Posted November 4, 2016 Don't regrow/respawn in caves? After some reading that's what I've come across so far. Even if I leave the stump? When it rains they won't respawn? Whenever I play with a wicker partner I'd go down and farm 20 green caps or other colors if we were short on crockpot fillers but I may have to change my strategy if they're not as renewable as I thought. bestnick8 Posted November 5, 2016 Share Posted November 5, 2016 From what I've understood, in RoG when it's a full moon, mushrooms could become mushtrees. Chopping those "turned" mushrooms->mushtrees, you must leave the stump, so that after full moon it could turn back to a mushroom. Since standard mushtrees are trees, they have mechanics like all other trees. In DST I haven't noticed any surface mushrooms turning to mushtrees, so I guess the mechanics are different. Thanks for that link cyberboy, I assume that's for console as well. I also noticed spores, didn't relize it was even in game yet. Thought that was the new content.
