Zeklo
As the title says. I wanna link two teleporters together—a new prefab.
Serpens
it really depends what your teleporter is. Is this a complete new thing you made? Then it is up to you how to connect them. You can implement any way you want. To help you more, I would need more information.
Zeklo
Yeah this is a completely new object. I just can't seem to locate what makes teleports link to one another.
Serpens
"link them" just sounds like you expect a function like "Link(teleteporterA,teleporterB)", but as far as I know such a function does not exist. So you have to code it yourself. And since you made a new objext on your own, I wonder why you are not able to also make such functions on your own. That's why I asked for more information. I have no clue what you already have, what you know about coding and why don't you use obvious solutions like just calling "SetPosition" to set the character to a position near the other teleporter. edit: you could look at the component from this mod, there you see how you could do the teleportation itself:http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=350811795 Edited September 29, 2016 by Serpens
Zeklo
I completely got side tracked from this. I'll take a look at it. I'm pretty inexperienced, so I basically try and see what makes what function, but in this scenario I was stumped. Anyway, I'll have a look at the link.
