Shinespark Posted October 16, 2012 Share Posted October 16, 2012 I'm having trouble watching cutscenes. There's only a black screen (but the sound plays normally). This includes a video before the games starts, at the beginning and end of the first level, and a scene that plays before watching the credits. Here's a few questions and a potential solution.1) What is your system build and specs.2) Are you on a laptop? Try plugging it in if you are. Sometimes laptop graphics cards run differently when plugged in.3) What version of DirectX do you have?If the you have an older version of DirectX on your machine, you could experience some problems. If you have the exact same symptoms above and the game isn't full on crashing (which is a known issue we're pushing a fix for ASAP!), it's pretty likely that an older version of DirectX is being used. You might have to fully uninstall DirectX before re-installing if you're having any troubles updating overtop of a previous version. Thanks!
