If they wanted to make it accessible, they would have keept it as .tex file, it was the case before if i'm not wrong. They probably don't want thousand of mod duplicate the skin and ruining the feature. Judging from the comments here it might be in Klei's wishes to not have these texture files redistributed or the means on how to read them exposed. @V2C Could you verify if it's okay to post the .tex file(s) or the means on unraveling the archive? I'm perfectly fine respecting the wishes of the Klei devs leaving my own antics to myself. Here's a rescaled version of the Wendy Shadow image, to stop against direct usage of it, to demonstrate that it is indeed possible as viewed by mattstools' TEXTool.
