Tainted-Petals Posted April 30, 2016 Share Posted April 30, 2016 I'm not sure where else to post this to, but I was solving the puzzles with everyone else for DST and everyone else seems to have gotten the torch but me? I'm just hoping for some answers, that's all. I've logged in and out of steam, opened up the game right away last night to get the torch and didn't, so I waited to try again today. No such luck. I was logged into my steam account the entire time, so I'm hoping there's a way I can get the torch as well, since I did solve the puzzle each day with everyone else? Thanks. Arlesienne Posted April 30, 2016 Share Posted April 30, 2016 Did you log in on the puzzle page with the account you bought the game through before doing the puzzle? I had a problem with my cache, but logging in through an anonymous tab on Mozilla allowed me to solve the puzzle. The torch showed up on the first next launch. Maybe try this? I actually made a separate steam account once to try and see differences in the puzzle, but over all I've used my main one and still haven't gotten it. I'm going to try logging in again before bed and hopefully see if I get it but I'm not holding out hope. I mean, I know the Klei devs are busy and I'm not super upset? I just really hope it can be fixed in general. I'll try clearing out my cache and solving the puzzle again if I have to (but gosh that's a lot to do, but I will if I have to. It did not work for me in the normal mode, but caught up on the private tab. Because it counted the login as recent enough, most likely. I haven't tried opening it up in a private tab yet actually! I'm in Opera so I was worried that was why (no idea why honestly but I'm grasping at straws here). I'll try that (if you meant private tab) if I don't get it tonight and redo the puzzle and hopefully it'll fix it! This way you do not have to deal with the caches. Fingers crossed!
