Could ghosts have nightvision?

I'm kind of on the fence with this idea. I definitely think they should be given more light, but out and out night vision might be overkill. I don't think croaking should be a valid way to increase your ability to explore. Even if you don't reveal unexplored portions of the map while dead, you could still get a basic sense of the layout of an area. This would be especially powerful in Winter and Spring.

So, basically as it works while daytime? If someone wants to explore as a ghost, they could perfectly wait until the night ends.

Also, if my memory is not playing tricks on me, the idea of death players becoming ghosts when they die was so they could still be somewhat useful while dead.

Agreed, sanity drain is always a constant nuisance when it comes to being a ghost, so when it comes to finding a touchstone or scanning for a player who is willing to revive, it should happen as soon as possible

I personally wouldn't think it would be used in any cheesey terms, since a dead person afterall is a dead person. Navigating to find the ruins is a possibility, but impractically slow.

Yeah, basically as it works in the daytime, except when it's not daytime. That was the point.
