Faintly Macabre Posted April 26, 2016 Share Posted April 26, 2016 I made a bunch of Abigail's Flowers, curious how they behave with multiples in existence. After finding out that there's no point having more than two, I left them sitting out because hey, they look pretty. When Summer came, I hadn't really prepared good food sources and was having trouble keeping my beefalo fed (eventually gave up, good grief) so I took him to the desert to subsist on cacti and wait it out. On my way back I realized too late that I didn't have enough torch to quite make it to my fire pit and got killed, wandered over to the portal and rezzed as dawn of Autumn started. Start killing butterflies to get stats back up and suddenly find myself wondering where six flowers came came from so close to my stuff, and after a minute or two realized they were all where my Abigail's Flowers had been sitting. So... what caused this? There's like half a dozen reasons it could have happened I guess (and all of them suck because those 6 nightmare fuel went poof) but I have no idea which one it was. Leaving the Abigail's Flower on the ground for a certain amount of time causes it to happen. For example, Lucy will turn to a regular axe over time, Bernie turns into 1 silk, 1 beefalo wool and 1 beard hair, and the Codex Umbra turns into papyrus. Probably nothing, since that can be used at least as a light by anyone. It doesn't turn into anything since it can be used by others, just like Wigfrid's armor/spear.
