Hylias Posted April 6, 2016 Share Posted April 6, 2016 I just bought the game and when i tried to start it , DST window shows up and stay black for 2-5 seconds , then another window appear saying "dontstarve_steam.exe stopped working" and then everything closes.... You can do this by going to your Steam Library, right clicking DST and going to properties. Then select "Local Files" and click the button. Click on your Windows icon on the bottom left, press the little search icon if you have Windows 8-10, or if you have Windows 7 you can just search at the bottom of the list. So type in "dxdiag" and press enter. I'd say you'll need to update them, though I'm not 100% sure how that is done, neither do I know if it will work; maybe you should wait for an actual Klei member to help you, so I'll mention @Wade. If your graphic card is old, it probably has an update for it.
