FreyaMaluk
I tried using X-mouse but I can't get DS to recognize the 4. and 5. mouse keys. Any solutions??
Zillvr
@FreyaMaluk you can probably try to indirectly bind Mouse 4 and Mouse 5 to a key you don't normally press like ]. So lets say you want to bind the Do Action (default Space) to your Mouse 4. You do the following: In game, you go to controls and set Do Action to ]. In X-mouse, you select the drop down list for Mouse Button 4, and select Simulated Keys. A new dialogue will pop up and you enter ] under the Enter the Custom Key(s):. Click the dropdown for How to send the simulated key strokes: Then select 3 During (press on down, release on up). Uncheck any checked boxes. So now in-game, when you hold the Mouse 4 button, you would do the nearest doable action. For any other key bindings, you just need to remember that you can indirectly bind your extra Mouse Buttons to an unused and normally not easily-pressed-by-accident key which the game can recognize. To sum it up, bind Mouse 4 to ] in X-Mouse Button Control. Then bind ] to Do Action in game. I hope that helps. Have fun, cheers.
