Rarest used character?

Wicker is not hard to use and certainly not a challenging character.

She only needs a science machine, can build a shovel from the start, digs up every gras furf, berry bush, twig turf, gatheres 40-80 petals, 4 monster meat, feeds a pigman with the meat to get a werepig, it transforms the 40-80 petals to 40-80 poop and than she just fertilizes her 40+ gras turfs, berry bushes, makes farms, etc.

She can built an insanely huge base in under 10 days and she can just spam her Applied Hurticulture book, until she has so much, gras, twigs, berries, crops, that she can just feed 4-5 other players and give them enough basic ressources to survive, without them doing anything.

Her disadvantages are a joke, pretty much no on has to eat spoiled food, because there are a ton of ways to reset the spoil timer or just use other food, she has more than enough.

Insomnia is also not a big, There are a ton of ways to get sanity back, food items, friendly pigs, flowers, glommer, head items or just fight the crawling horrors/terror beaks, she can craft log armor and a spear on day, thats more than enough to kill shadow creatures, even for wendy or wes and the old lady has the same damage multiplier than wilson, woodie, maxwell, etc.

And I didn't even mentioned her tentacle, sleep or lightning book...1 Wickerbottom can obliterate a complete server on her own, even if all other characters had the same time to prepare for a fight than her.

Every player should have after 10-20 hours in DS enough experience to destroy everyone and everything with her. Wickerbottom is the most unbalanced character in the game...if you don't count Woodlegs.

Wes, Willow, Maxwell and to an extent even Wolfgang are all more challenging than her.

 

Wes - high hunger drain, low damage multi, low health and sanity, barely useful perk (balloons)

Willow - low max sanity, freezes when sanity is low (she is the only char in the game, that actually gets real problems when her sanity is gone, it gets only worse in winter), her perks are all quiet weak compared to other characters perks, so she is basically almost a female Wes

Maxwell - is the only char that gets one shotted at max health by bosses, and gets two shotted by several other creatures

Wolfgang - needs to be wimpy if you don't want to waste food, if you play him wimpy he is slow and weak and his sanity drain at night and from monsters is higher (not that bad)

@HeilerderWelten, Wickerbottom has some of the strongest powers in the game, but most newer players don't know how to use them or how to deal with her sanity issues. Not sleeping is an issue if you don't got the certain foods as she can't craft as many new items. Using her books hits her sanity, so she can end up insane if she isn't careful as well. Her books also require reeds, which is one of the harder supplies above ground to gather. As tentacles are good at killing new players, lagging players, and even experienced players who had to stop and make a torch or sneeze. Wickerbottom forces players out of crutches and into the swamp. 

 

 Wigfrid remains the easy to play, easy to win champion. Who cares you can't eat meat when 1 morsel or monster meat with 3 ice or berries feeds her with a crock pot. She doesn't have to worry about Woflgang's hunger as she has constant buffs above everyone else in regards to combat, health, and sanity. She also has superior armor and weapons that she can pass out to others as well. 

 

 Willow is basically a worse Wilson, better Wes, Her lighter making early exploring easier, and then she doesn't supply that much help after that. She isn't hard at all to learn, unlike Wickerbottom. You can't say Willow's sanity makes her hard to play, but then use Wickerbottom can just use supplies for sanity when Willow has an easier time with her sanity as she can sleep, stand at the fire pit at night, and craft more new recipes which Wickerbottom does not have access to. Wickerbottom just has a greater pay off to the team than Willow can ever imagine to have. Who is easier to play? Willow. Who has a greater pay off? Wickebottom.
