Unsound Mind
As far as I'm aware, there hasn't been. The best we've gotten at lore continuation is the gif of a slap fight between Wilson and Maxwell with "a new reign" in the source code. I don't have the link to it, but if someone does some digging, they can find it. I know it doesn't have a lot to do with Maxwell and Charlie's story, but it's all we have. Ages ago, Kevin hinted that Klei was going to continue the story, and we were given a cannon timeline of events, but nothing has happened in months. I was looking forward to a continuation, so if Klei has changed their minds, then I'll be a little disappointed. The lore really strengthens the game, in my opinion. Asparagus
A logical assumption regarding the video... Maxwell is freed from the Nightmare Throne... and so is Charlie @Quoth143's actually made a good story based on this... A lot of people say and speculate that those two items in the video represent both Maxwell (Codex Umbra) and the Rose (Charlie)... but who replaced Maxwell as the Puppet Master is anyone's guess... names have been rattled off like Wagstaff, Jack Carter... even Wortox that one time... I feel we're all waiting for the real story... maybe it'll come with Through the Ages... when that will come IDK... Hope it will be good...
