BlueSideWind Posted February 2, 2016 Share Posted February 2, 2016 Ok I been asking for help for why my DST won't update on any changes I made into the character mod. Example: Paint my character face into a giant red square doesn't change anything. So after serveral hours of waiting no one replied. Instead I just started from scractch from the ESCTEMPLATE. I re-edited everything and just pasted in my character images. Launch the game and the game showed me an invisible character. Maybe like an hour later I decided to try launching just the ESCTEMPLATE into my mods. When I launch Dont starve together it doesn't even registered that I have that mod. End result Steam isn't registering anything in my mod folder. Any idea whats going on? halfrose Posted February 5, 2016 Share Posted February 5, 2016 did you make sure you compiled the mod before running? if you don't compile it, which creates new character zip files in the anim folder, it will never update.
