I also try to sort them a bit by categorize them into Items, Structures, Mechanics and Mobs Older Threads Spoiler Ghostpirates when on Low sanity The Shamans Crockpot Ideas for new Boats Ideas for some new Biomes Ideas for a revamp of Poison to make it scale better into the lategame Also i would apprechiate if you guys would not Necro these threads instead discuss them in here thanks. Now that the Old is out of the way lets start with the new Spoiler Structures Spoiler Artificial Snakeden Tab: Structures, Requires Alchemy Engine Made out of 10 Snakeskin, 1 Thermalstone and 10 Jungletree Seeds. Basicly a way to artificialy create snakedens since there is no proper way to create more at least not from my knowledge. The Hurricoil Tab: Structures, Requires Alchemy Engine Made out of 5 Electrical Doodads, 1 Bossdrop from the Hurricaneseason Boss (I would love to call it "The eye of the Storm") and 10 Cut Stone The Hurricoil behaves similar to a Lightningrod however it also has a chargemeter at the side. Each time a Lightningbolt hits the Coil it will get charged by 1/5. Similar to an Ice-Fling-O_matic you can switch the Hurricoil on and off. When switched on the Hurricoil will shoot Lightningbolts at nearby enemys what deal 50 damage and can hit up to 3 additional targets (this can include players). Each Bolt shoot by the coil uses up 1/10 of the chargebar. Alternatively you can charge the Hurricoil with Jellyfish but those only charge for 1/10 of the meter Items Spoiler The Snakecallers Flute Tab: Magic, Requires Prehastinator (i can't remember the SW versions name of the top of my head) to make Made out of 4 Snakeskin, 3 Reeds and 4 Silk Has 4 uses. When used the Character will shortly freeze in place to play the FLut after that every Snake in the area will be friendly towards the player and follow him/her. Additionally when played the Flute will call Snakes from any nearby Snakeden to the player. Snakes would stay friendly for about 3 Minutes before turning aggresive again. Throwing Spears Tab: Combat Requires Science Machine to prototype. Recipe: 3 Bamboo, 2 Vines and 3 Seashells (makes a 5 Spears) A basic throwing spear that deals 20 damage flat and has a 25% chance to not break upon use (otherwise it breaks directly). Idea behind this is that currently SW lacks a lot of easy to acces ranged weapons and Navalcombat favours ranged combat so i think we really need a weak yet easy to make weapon to be able to defend ourselfs on the ocean. Creatures Spoiler Deep Sea Merms These Special Merms only show up during Full Moons around the Swampareas. For Looks basicly immagine a normal Merm crossed with an Anglerfish. Deep Sea Merms basicly act like any other merm however the Boiluminescent Bulb on their Heads makes them special. When killed they have a somewhat high chance to drop the Bulb. This Bulb can be used to either refuel Minerhelmets similar to the Lightbulbs from the Caves or it can be refined into Bioluminescent at an Alchemy Engine. Green and Yellow Sharx (aka Bloated and Lightning Sharx) One of the things i find a bit dissapoiting is that our good oll plas the Hounds of the Sea got no special variations compared to their land dwelling brothers so i though about some variants of them. Lightning Sharx show up during both Calm and Hurricane (so the first 2 seasons) season and move faster then a basic SHarx. For that however they are weaker in raw stats (think of them like BLoodhounds they are the ones that seek out the pray and weaken them for the bigger ones). Lightning Sharx also can be charged by Lightning what gives them even more speed and shocks the player if they get hit (if playing WX this will trigger System Overcharge). And to go with the theme of the colored Hunters they have a chance to drop Yellow Gems on death (to have another way of getting them) Bloated Sharx show up during both Monsoon and Dry Season and are the slower and more bulky brothers of the smaller Sharx. However instead of just poisoning the player they instead are filled with Toxic gas and release that on death. This means once you killed a Bloated Sharx it will quickly inflate itself and errupt into a small poisonous gascloud poisoning everything around them (including other Sharx). On death they have a small chance to drop a Green Gem and the usual Sharx drops. The Balloonfish A Neutral creature that can be found all over the ocean similar to Stinkrays. Balloonfish will hover just a bit above the surface of the water and try to actively avoid the player similar to pigs. When attack Balloonfish will quickly inflate themself and then shoot out a barrage of spikes at the player and shoot themself backwards (to escape). When killed you get a Dead Balloonfish what can be used in the Crockpot to create Balloonfish Sushi what restores 75 HP Sanity and Hunger but it has a 5% chance to poison the player when eaten. As i said i will Update this thread instead of making new ones so keep an eye on it if you want to know about more of my stupid ideas.
