Balloon Animals Should Restore Sanity

Recommended Posts

Title speaks for itself.

Would give Wes something to do in a multiplayer setting aside from dying horribly or being mostly useless.

I'd be fine with inflating a balloon docking 5 sanity each time it's performed, but there's no good reason why this new, adorable and comforting giraffe shouldn't make my stay in this treacherous hellscape at least somewhat more tolerable.

I'd say each balloon giving you the equivalent of wearing a garland's sanity restoration per tick per balloon in the immediate area.

Thoughts?

Less than that. Balloons are usually stacked in big groups, so i would say each one maybe gives you +0.1 sanity/min, with a big area of effect

I'd say at the very least 1 sanity/min/balloon. That way you could recoup your loss after few minutes.

Wes is supposed to be the ´´hard mode´´ of the game,i think he is perfectly fine the way he is,if klei ever changes Wes they will debuff him in any case

Think that's the big difference between DST and DS. Balance between all characters within multiplayer is a must in my opinion.

If you play Wes in DST it means you want some difficulty, not helping or doing something useful as far as abilities go,also he does you can craft lots of balloons to create a balloon party!!

More like being difficult for your team, not something meant for multiplayer.

Well, if you have experience in playing as Wes, your team won't have to worry much about you.

Though yes, most players should stay away from Wes unless they're sure they'll manage to survive 1 year with him.

Or maybe not survive all that, but also not use up other player's resources and try to get some of your own, unless of course the other players allow you to use theirs, and even then, use with caution.
