Bought two copy pack, got only one

Hello, I have a problem with purchasing a package with 2 copies of DST. I have already bought one before, I've added the game to my library and gave the other one to a friend. Now, another friend of mine wanted the game, but he didn't have enough money at the moment, so I decided to buy it for him. I purchased the game as a gift, it even says above the add to cart button 'Includes an extra copy of Don't Starve Together. Send it to a friend!', but after I payed the money, there was only 1 game to send.

When your friend receives the gift and adds it to his library, the second copy will show up in your friend's inventory.

I chose to put it in my inventory first, so there should have been 2 copies, instead of just one.

You didn't purchase 2 copies of DST you bought a single copy of DST that comes with a gift copy to give away. 

 

So, that's what is in your inventory. When you use it, it will give your account DST(if you don't already have it) and then put the gift in your inventory. If you give it away, and they use it, it will add DST to their library and add the gift to their inventory. 

 

You could give it to your friend, let him use it and have them give you the gift back.

I'm confused now. I bought it for the second time. The first time I've got 2 copies, Now, just 1.

If you get 2 only at the first purchase, than I want the second copy from you, as I wasn't informed about this!

Steam says: 1 copy + 1 copy for your friend. I would find logical (every other game has it like this), buying the whole product as a gift to my inventory, to give me 2 copies to send someone. 1+1=2! BUT NO, I get only one because I'm a good customer, who wants to buy another 2 copies!

NOTHING LIKE THIS WAS ON THE PAGE AND I FEEL SCAMMED! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!

You weren't scammed. You bought the game as a gift, and it went to your inventory because you already own the game. After you send it to your friend and once he redeems it he's going to get a second copy in his inventory.

I am sorry that you feel scammed. You can find the steam refund policy here. http://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds/

You shouldn't have any issue refunding it since it wasn't used.

Oh ok, now I understand. I'm sorry for my previous post.

The person I gave it to is now offline, I'll ask them tommorow if the game is in their inventory.

Sorry for posting here but I think mine is the same problem.
I supposedly received a DST gift which should spawn another copy in my inventory (as the other person directly bought it as a gift), 6 hours or more have passed but the extra copy hasn't appeared in my inventory. Is there anything I could I do? Thanks!
