Sounds like an idea maybe have swarms of Shrimp on the worldmap similar to Shoals of fish and you just need to drive through them with a trawlnet and catch a few. Only problem i see here is that it might add another foodsource that can easily be exploited so Shrimps should either A) Be not as nutricious so you need a lot of them to feed you for a day (for that you catch a lot of them like 20 or so for crossing through the swarm a couple of times) or B) only appear in a specific season like say Monssonseason is also the season Shrimps appear all over the place so it's the best time to get your trawlnet ready.
