KitcheVadimas
Basically, to reduce the amount of flooding that is already happening, introduce a crafting system for skins. You need 2 skins of the same slot, and the color of the skin affects what color will come out. The outcome can be a random skin for the same slot, or a cape or small chance of skirt for failed-ish crafts, and a small chance for complete failure as fabric scraps. Having craft exclusives will encourage players to use this system; something like a 'common patchwork cape' coming out of about 30% of 2-common crafts, and higher tier crafting having higher tier crafts like a 20% chance with 2 classys for a 'classy 2 sided cape' or a 'spiffy multicolored bag' coming out of crafts that include 2 spiffy backpacks of different colors. I don't think you should be able to re-enter crafted skins into the crafting, at least not until a few updates later where you can figure out what to do with that. The hardest part will likely be the art for all these new multicolored items, and figuring out how capes will work. Perhaps having a template for each item, with spots coded for "color A" and "Color B"? Examples, and kinda a better explanation: IN: Blue Lumberjack shirt, Red Pleated shirtOUT: 30% red and blue common patchwork cape, 10% red and blue classy, 10% red or blue normal classy, 20% red and blue lumberjack shirt, 20% red and blue pleated shirt, 5% red and blue common patchwork skirt, 5% fabric scraps. IN: Green classy Plaid Skirt, Brown common skirtOUT: 15% classy double-sided short cape, 10%patchwork short cape, 10% green and brown plaid skirt, 10% green and brown patchwork short skirt, 20% green and brown normal classy, 20% green or brown normal classy, 5% green and brown spiffy, 5% green or brown spiffy, 5% fabric scraps. I think that 4 fabric scraps should be able to be crafted together to make a patchwork something, so they're not a complete waste. Pants, mask, shirt, whatever. Actually, a patchwork Lucha Libre mask sounds kinda cool. So does a patchwork scarecrow mask. Auth
Well, first off it isn't a market, and second off, double drops aren't hurting anyone to have. If you want a particular clothing item, find someone that has it and trade it with them. You can also slowly climb up the scale, selling 2 commons for a classy, etc. to get rid of your huge stockpile.
