Once you lost your loots to them, you'll feel that they are too common.I tried to start at wickerbottom, went from monkey island to monkey island, died because i wasn't able to get ressources to build a fire as they were stolen by the monkeys while i was strugling to fight snakes. Put a grass wall to enter the zone. Preferably you can put pig houses inside that area too.. Make the area rather small that monkeys will barely have space to escape. Murder them inside.. Get your banana and morsel loot and leave area. Dont forget to repair grass wall with a piece of grass each time u leave the zoo. If you want poop hit one of them from the other side of the wall and wait for a poop rain.
