I didn't say it was a troll, I just said you were in the wrong forum. If you think sleeping needs to be changed, that would affect the whole game, so it should be in the Suggestions & Feedback forum.

1: Well you heavily edited your OP this morning, so if your main argument here is that sleep is not very useful, I wouldn't say I totally disagree. I just think it's a bad idea for them to incentivise sleep because it makes the players want to just skip through the game. It's a delicate balance because at a certain point there's not even a reason to play if you can just sleep all the time. I guess I just don't really see why the current sleep mechanics are a problem.

 

2: I didn't say to leave the forums, I was under the impression your issue with sleep is that it was unrealistic. I was just pointing out that it's not a very valid complaint considering how unrealistic this game is.

 

Sleep functions perfectly well as a mechanic to fully regain your sanity when you are at the end of your rope with no other resources to do so. It also functions fine as a way to skip a cold or dark evening if you've run out of firewood. The hunger penalty for doing so seems perfectly appropriate. I just don't really see where the problem is.
