Werebeaver at sea

So, i fled to see to escape the nonstop meteor rain when the curse hit me. Incase you wondered, what will happen if you have a Life Jacket on and drown as a werebeaver, here is the answer:

 

You get resurrected invisibly with fix stats, the life jacket on and cannot move, while the touch stone gets used up. Pretty fucked up, right?

When I played as Woodie and he turned into the werebeaver while on his boat, he sunk/drowned??  and ended up resurrected way back at the 2nd island that I'd come accross... not at the resurrection touch stone, but just on the north beach area of the island.  So, I had to get a new boat, sail, and lantern, and sail waaaaayyyyy north to where I'd changed and sunk.... picked up all my dropped (and now waterlogged) items and started sailing... only to have Woodie change yet again, about a minute later.  Again, he sunk and turned up back on the beach in the exact same spot.  Weird.  No Touch Stone, no resurrection items of any kind, and not where my camp was either... just a totally random spot on the beach, but the 2nd time it was the exact same spot. 

 

After getting back to where he sunk the 2nd time around and picking up all the soaking wet stuff, I sailed to one of the islands and got off the boat.  Not sure if the glitch was because it got dark and it was almost time for him to change?  It wasn't "night" yet, only "dusk" when it happened, so I'm thinking it's just a weird bug??
