RalphKastro
I've never seen that happen before, and I'm wondering if DST will still be called "beta" even after release
Wagstaff
It's definitely possible. Unless beta is seperate and the original is given to the owners of the beta, then the beta removed. I believe Block N Load did this with their beta
Developer PeterA Posted October 23, 2015 Developer Share Posted October 23, 2015 Yeah, once DST is out of beta, we will be removing the "beta" from the name. We've already done the first step by making the install directory not include "beta", so for new installs of the game will be in Steam\SteamApps\common\Don't Starve Together. There's no need to reinstall or try to manually change the directory (this will actually break the link with Steam), everything will continue to work with the original install directory name.
