Question about updates

Recommended Posts

Maybe someone was asking about this before, but I need to know if it's possible that some updates will hit single player version of DS in near future.

I know about Shipwrecked coming this fall and I'm very excited about it, but this will be something different. What I want to know is if there is any possibility that some new items from DS Together will be available for vanilla. In recent time a lot of new mechanisms, items, phenomenons was appeared in DST. I'm talking about this new Dragonfly Floor, those cool new Trinkets from graves, Whirly Fan, Water Balloon, Bernie bear, Booster Shot, new kinds of backpacks and of course Meteorites with Moon Rock and Moon Wall. Some of those things was created especially for multi player game like Evecus, but that will be great to see some of those in single player mode. I'm especially curious about Dragonfly Floor and trinkets which I'm always collecting in my crates. I know it is crazy, but for me it's the best part of the game. I just can't wait to get those Toy Trojan Horse, Shoe Horn, Gnomette, Beaten Beater and others in my collection in single player world.

Someone already added meteorites for vanilla on steam workshop but trinkets in game files appear differently then the other prefabs. They are all in one file and this will be hard to add them to the game with a modification.

Maybe someone know something? Maybe guys from Klei was talking about adding those new things from DST to the vanilla game in Rhymes with Play or somewhere? It's weird that this game is now expanding only in multi player mode. It's not really fair for those player which prefer single player mode.

They said some time ago that they will port some DST stuff to DS later (not that multiplayer stuff like ewecus and DST dragonfly of course). Im hoping for this too. But as Chris said they have lot on their plate now so we need to wait = play DST .)
