Worldgen Suggestions and Batilisks

I figure this would be a good time to toss around a few ideas with the additional worldgen options that have recently been added when starting a new world.

Add an "Extra" option for biome-specific entities - This is mainly to bridge the rather large disparity between the "default" and "more" choices for things like Tallbirds, Cacti, Catcoons, etc.

 

I think it would be only natural to add a choice like this that increases the number of these that are placed into the world, rather than making them spawn all over the world as the "more" selection does in almost absurd numbers. "Extra" would do something along the lines of, just to toss a number out there, multiplying the number that show up of something by 1.5x - 2x.

Add an option for Batilisk attacks - While the Caves content is being figured how to be properly implemented into the DST experience, these enemies could still make an appearance in the game as it is I feel, not to mention give players the chance to make the Bat Bat item.

 

There are a number of interesting ways to approach this:

 

- Add the rock that would normally plug the sinkhole to the caves to the quarry / rocky areas and have batilisks randomly spawn, come to, and sleep near them. Alternatively, you could also just use the sinkhole, but deactivate the ability to use it to enter the caves and let them spawn as they do in the single player version (Spawner route)

- Have a number of batilisks spawn and attack the players similar to how the hounds do - tie it into the hound attack option or give it its own separate setting (Worldgen route)

- Give batilisks a small chance to spawn, instead of a bird, during dusk. (Rare spawn route)

An option for 'set pieces' - Pretty straightforward this one. There's already an option for how many "Failed Surviors (skeletons)" you can find in a new world, how about giving us control over how many set pieces (reed traps, tallbird nesting grounds, hound pits, marble areas w/clockwerk robots, pig brutes, etc) could also potentially spawn. Not an option for each of these individually to be clear, just an option to increase the number that could appear.

 

If that would require too much time and testing, at the very least an option to potentially increase the number of Marble biome spawns would be nice.

An option for biome size - Another rather straightforward suggestion. Similar to how you can opt for longer/shorter/permanent day, dusk, and night, perhaps another option could be added to the worldgen screen which allows the creator to select if they want a particular biome to be given more creation priority, such as the deciduous or swamp areas?

#2:They have very very low health,probably lower thab tiny tentacles,don't need to change the amount of them per attack

I do believe you are mistaking this forum for the single player version, you won't fight Batilisks in DST unless you manually spawn them in yourself, or are using one of those mods that tries to put Caves content into DST. I'm talking about the current 'vanilla' version that we are all playing.
