O__OWhen I first started playing single player DS, I was terrible... other than that, I found an object in the world when I was hovering over it, it's not a carrot... it was the mighty Mandrake. It was the first time I encountered it and I remembered from other games/movies/literature that when picking/plucking them out of the ground, they will produce a screech that could kill the one who uprooted it and anyone within ear-shot... then a light bulb flashed above my head and thought of the Rabbit Earmuffs. Surely it would block, or at least dull out the sounds of the mandrake's screech and so I set out to procure one and when I had it, I returned to the mandrake, with sweaty hands soaking my mouse and laptop keyboard, dissolving the adhesive on the nvidia sticker, moving it far down from its original place... I picked it up and sure enough the sound was heard... but then it died... A few days passed and my earmuffs degraded because I was a noob and I encountered yet another mandrake, I wanted to test if what I had done before was an actual thing and so, my "intel core i5" sticker moved along with the nvidia sticker... I plucked it out at dusk and was rewarded with a follower... then I looked at the wiki and was never the same person again... I did resist most of the other topics. I still wanted it to be a mysterious game. So, I was thinking that something that covers your ears could block out or at least muffle sounds and ultimately provide protection/resistance to the charms that is the Pan Flute... and even the Bearger yawn... The cost of making this would be the main concern, should we make it more expensive? Or make the rabbit earmuffs a part of a recipe to an item that would plug out hearing? Court is now in session. Silentdarkness1 Posted July 10, 2015 Share Posted July 10, 2015 Make the rabbit earmuffs part of a Sonic Deflector that breaks very easily if you start taking hits, but nullifies the Pan Flute entirely. Recipe would be, imo, 3 gold nuggets, 3 rope, 1 earmuffs and 2 logs.
