OP, I'd suggest going over to the Bug Tracker portion of this forum (http://forums.kleientertainment.com/forum/75-dont-starve-together-beta-bug-tracker/) and try describing your problem in more detail. This forum is generally very helpful and will probably help you before the devs even get to your topic For now, I'm not super savvy on file paths and code, but I do use a mac so maybe I can help. Could you describe your problem at launch? Are you trying to play through Steam or as a stand alone? If it's Steam, an easy fix if some files are corrupt or missing is to verify the integrity of your game cache. Right click "Don't Starve Together Beta" > "Properties" > "Local Files" > "Verify Integrity of Game Cache." This will examine your files for DST and repair anything that is wrong.
