By compiling i mean that the scml file will be turned into the animation

Many reasons may appear. When I had similar problem like you have, i just didn't have few files (but better say, i just forget to rename it). Look at there, it helped me to find my mistake

@Krystian858,

your autocompilerlog is in SteamApps\common\temp

have look, whether there's an error at the bottom. if it's an error and caused by another mod, unsubscribe and delete it, else fix the error.

Okay, I managed to get the animation zip files but they don't work. My item is invisible in my hand/on the ground, but the inventory image works fine. I don't think that there is anything wrong with the LUA files. Could you look into my mod and see what is wrong? If you have time ofcourse :-)

The Lua file itself doesn't help, we don't know what you called your animation or any related names... Grab your log as explained here. It should say the error.

well, if there isnt a line about the swap animations, why not look in other prefabs that have it, or look up one of the tutorials?

if u cant figure it out yourself, u will have to attach your mod.

Other files that have it...In my case its only the script .lua file, and there are only 2 lines about the swap, which are the anim Asset and the OnEquip function, correct? I don't see anything wrong there, so i assume that there is something wrong with the animation itself, but ofcourse i could be wrong. I think it will be best if someone better at modding than me takes a look at it.
