I was wondering if any of the developers (which I've seen around) could answer a couple of questions about "Don't Starve" with a developer mindset. I'll understand if some kind of "industry-secrecy-is-important" law is invoked, however.

I noticed the game uses SDL (I suppose the engine heavily relies on that library). I have a Mac build, which includes an `SDL2.framework`. Did you built SDL yourselves or used a prebuilt binary instead? In case you went with the first option, did you modify SDL's default memory management functions (which, in turn, forward every request to good-old `malloc` and the likes)? If not, have you experienced any sort of memory issue coming from SDL?
