Need Help Locating Banjo Tabs for "HoeDown"

Recommended Posts

The soundtrack "Hoedown" is my favorite and I am a banjo player. Logically, I would like to learn how to play the riffs used in "Hoedown." I am unable to locate anything useful online and have already e-mailed Klei, but have not received a response. If possible, do any of you have any advice on how I could locate the tabs online? (I know it's a long shot but it'd be very helpful)

Couldn't you just play it by ear? I don't know how hard it is for banjo, but I found that the violin soundtracks for DS are quite easy to track by ear.

Edit: Also, I think this should be moved to DS General Discussion. Or maybe not, though, as here is much more active...

I will do my best, although it is pretty tough with banjo using certain rolls and licks. You are correct about the baseline notes, though. Those are very easy to decipher.

@TheSlackPack, If your ever gonna try to play and master or whatever please put it on youtube I would really love to see hoedown preformed in real life or video or whatever lol. ^_^

Certainly! I will do my best to learn the song, and will then promptly put my work on youtube. I just hope it comes together, it is pretty tough.

@TheSlackPack, Yeah I hope you're lucky enough to perfect it and play it. ^_^

Ok, well the good news is I was able to figure out about 90% of the riffs... enough to make a video. I still have a ton of practice to get it up to speed (As of right now, I can play it at half speed with the occasional mistake). Once it's ready to go, I'll post a link to this thread. In all honesty, it may take awhile but will definitely be worth the effort.
