Official Spanish translation?

Hi everyone! At first, sorry for my english, Im spanish and use google and my low english level, sorry.

 

I wonder if a Spanish translation is planned. I love this game, and I play with a spanish mod (workshop mod) but sometimes, report me an error, and not all is translated, obviously. So, have planned an official translate?

Klei said they wouldn't do official translations, but they do have the stuff to let people make translations. You can probably find one, but there aren't that many, and generally there will be more Russian translations due to how many people in Russia play DS and DST.

no hay ni habrá pero las que ya han hecho via mods son bastante competentes, no se en cual mod te falla porque yo casi no lo uso pero no meha dado problemas, ademas cuando termine la beta podrian arreglarlo pero al final resulta un tanto trivial, despues de todo no necesitas leer demasiado y el ingles que maneja el juego es sumamente basico

Actaully, English can be a hard language due to how some pronunciations sound. Generally, English is easier to say, if you speak English as your first language (but that doesn't mean you'll mess up certain words.)

Also, Klei prefers English for support reasons, so try to use English when posting stuff.

Yes i know, excuse me, i forget the english version of the comment, I was going to post it, really, and I mean that the english in the game is pretty basic and the pronunciation of Wilson is so poor after all , one more thing: only for feedback I agree, I think the translation of some words and meanings of the game only have sense in english, another reason for don't use the translation mod or maybe make another one with the real essence, humor and personality of the game and not just a technique translation

Una cosa mas: solo como retroalimentacion estoy de acuerdo, creo que la traduccion de ciertas palabras y significados del juego solo tiene sentido en ingles, otra razon para ano usar el mod de traduccion o tal vez hacer otra con la verdadera escencia, humor y personalidad del juego y no solo una traduccion tecnica

It would take someone or at least a small team that's very dedicated. The item names and mouseover text are probably basic enough to do, but when it comes to character speech (and some of said item names) they're puns, or references, or idioms based in English, and the team would need to come up with a new joke basically that works in Spanish, too.
