Shadowdragon Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 I seem to be having a lot of trouble logging into my friend's world. It often takes me 20-30 tries before I can get in. Is this "sever not responding" issue just because the game is in beta and the game servers aren't working at full speed yet? When we first started playing DST, my friend and I had no problems logging into each other's worlds, but now it's all but impossible. Anyone else having this issue? When my connection goes bad it also happens to me but while it goes smoothly no problem of server not responding, in my experience. Sometimes some executed programs make unknown network crashes with DST or else so they also cause a bit problem. And while joining servers with >200ms ping latency, I also experience movement-lags or disconnecting, responding problem. It will be better to upload your specs and network environment and co-executing programs when running DST for finding some clues(including your friends' conditions, too). Otherwise we don't know what's wrong. I do know that often when I try to connect to a friend on DST it causes my internet connection to fail. Why would trying to connect on DST boot me off the internet? It doesn't do it all the time, but it does happen. I'm just getting sick of it taking 40+ minute to connect because I can't get the server to respond, if I can connect at all.
