XD anyway how about we give everyone about 3 to 5 free log outs but after it will start costing points. Also i understand when a computer crashes you have no choice so this is what the freebies are for and i do agree this takes a lot of game play time so you might need a short break. I think flare would enjoy the survival part of sanfran as well which is why I'm doing this. I think he is a great pvp as well as survival player even though I've only seen him stream a couple of times. I think sanfran might be harder as well since you have to focus not only on pvp but winter. Also it is much harder to clear out a server than you would think but some players really enjoy it. So my challenge to flare is to clear out the entire sanfran server if we were to do this >: D he will not only be fighting with great pvpers but a (self proclaimed) pro survivalist (cough). If you don't have the time join in right anyway you can probably join late but it will be tougher for you to get the supplies you may need. We should also give an extra 5 or 6 days to anyone who joins late so not everyone rushes to spawn kill them. I would like you and alpha to both be there since you guys never got to start your fight so this will be a good chance. So if you could both coordinate a date that would be great. I've noticed most players are free on saturdays and everyone would have more time to fight as well? We might have to make a new server for this @_@ since so many people want to join in? All you have to do is drop items while being shot and you never fall asleep. I posted this in the bug tracker already. *EDIT* At least I think it's a bug.... they probably did not intend this. Its clear from what he says he doesn't know much about PvP and he's not that much of a veteran DS player seeing as how he thinks finding resources requires luck. Also you recording something doesn't rule out shenanigans. He clearly wants a dedicated server for the most obvious reasons: 1-equal or optimal ping which is HUGE in PvP 2- a level playing ground where you or someone you know cant cheese or console him in some way 3- neutral ground. This isn't rocket science dude if you spent a little less time trolling people and little more thinking you'd know his request for Klei dedicated play is not only logical but totally fair(ish). Just set up a time and put him in his place. 3 pages for this dumb discussion is ridiculous. I am also a co-op player but I seriously believe pvp is a really good strategy and makes the game more fun and challenging ^^; i'm not forcing you to try but i feel like if you killed a pvper or at least tried it you'd see why so many people enjoy it. It's not like they are doing it to seriously be mean to you it just a style of game play. Players drop more loot than regular spawns and it's a good way to gather supplies a lot more quickly. Although I do not respect spawn kills unless they are trying for a reset. I think it also makes the game more interesting after you've played DST for awhile. I'm not saying it's fun for all people i'm just saying you might find it enjoyable if you try? Also if pvp is really a game ruiner there are non pvp servers... If you join a pvp server it's just expected that you will run into a pvp player. Also trying really can't hurt anything you may even find out you enjoy it? Flare, just fight on the official dedicated servers. That way we don't have to worry about funny business. It's a shitload of fun even if you lose (see my pvp video where I died that I posted). PVP is getting bogged down with all this twitch and subscriber bullshit. When did this start happening? If I find someone subscribing to my youtube channel I remove them because I don't believe in "followers". I also only friend people on steam I know IRL.PVP is about having a good, fair fight (no funny business). That's it. Any true pvp'er will agree when I say there is nothing more fun than finding someone that pushes you to have a good fight instead of just screwing around. I hope to find someone good enough to force me to need to use wolfgang, but until that day I will stay as willow.
