Because, being trapped in phlegm..... @__@ I also kinda wished phlegm can be used to poison stuff. Since the microbes/virus can make someone drain health over time. Sticky bomb... but more of a beemine kinda deal... upon detonation when entering it's trigger zone, an area about 1 turf square radius can become "phlegm-coated" and any mob/player (yes including you) can become stuck for a period of time or could function as the Eweucus's default sticky-trap projectile... problem though since you get stuck too, you can't do a melee spam on them as you will also get stuck...
