There is only 1 game I can think of, and that is: RimWorld:-Top Down View-Survival-Hunger system-crafting-science-tech tree-building-ish-variety of monsters-random map generator-no tutorials-rouge like (when a character dies, they permanently die, the game ends when all character dies.)missing: petsnew:-You need to take care of more than 1 character-guns-when injured, you might need to replace limbs or organs with new one or bionic-Random encounter (kinda like fallout series)-Randomly generated characters-also, in dont starve, they have beefalo, in Rimworld, they have moofalo. -In Dont starve, it is modern-medieval and magic, in Rimworld, it's from the future.(in DS, you get to the wilderness by magic, in Rimworld, you get to the wilderness because your spaceship crashed). I haven't tried Rimworld, but I don't think there's a game that fills the niche that Don't Starve fills. But if I had to pick the most similiar game to DS, RimWorld sounds like a good candidate. The only thing greatly different from the gameplay in RW is that you have control over a group, not a singular character. Both feature periodic threat, need for food sources, a vague progression line, eerie, uncompromising "taunts" (e.g. sudden combustion), etc. May I add that the game Castle Story is shaping up to be some kind of mix between DS and RW? It's indev, so neither I nor you can really draw a résumé...
