Steam status is Online. I use the default filter. Steps to Reproduce: No idea. This happen randomly. But after one-two day the problem fix it self (and random happen again). rezecib Posted January 28, 2015 Share Posted January 28, 2015 @BravePotato, I don't think they have any servers near there, so hopefully it was just a bad day for your internet (maybe also a bad day for their servers) and it took too long to get the listing. Sometime in the future they'll have more servers and that should become less likely. Edit: also every time I see your avatar I squee. it's so darn cute... rezecib Posted January 28, 2015 Share Posted January 28, 2015 @BravePotato, When people host servers (that are online), it tells a Klei server that they're hosting. When you go to get the server list, it works like the first case you describe-- you ping a master server, and it gives you the list of servers. The game client gives you 60 seconds to fully load the list of servers, so in some really bad connection conditions, it can time out. It's been posted elsewhere, but there's an URL you can put into your browser to see the list of servers, and someone made a website that processes that. I'm not finding the URL for the raw list, but it's around somewhere. We update that every 5 seconds (though we don't have you download it that often).
