It's supposed to rain alot during spring. That's the challenge of the season.

Is it Spring or did you set rain on high? Because Spring is supposed to have a lot of rain and the setting would be your own doing.

 

Of course, you could set rain on low, but once you have the right equipment rain isn't that hard. It's always easier to start in Fall to have time to get the required supplies. A pretty parasol will help you out early on and you can gradually work your way to better equipment until you can get a deerclops eyeball and built the eyebrella. At that point, rain stops being a bother.

Yeah, you started in spring.
You have a random chance to start in spring or autumn.
If the rain so early in the game is too much for you
go to the world customization thing before you start
the world and set "Starting Season" to "Autumn".
Try to get stuff like a rain hat and an umbrella before
winter ends. Rain can also be pretty usefull, because
stuff grows much faster.

Flowers apparently respawn in RoG, so pick lots of them and make Parasols!
